Elisha Brewster papers, 1803-1860.

Papers of Elisha Brewster, a Norwich, Connecticut native who moved to Middlebury, Vermont, after becoming a pharmacist. In Middlebury he began a partnership with William Hooker. The papers include bills and receipts, deeds, and letters between Brewster family members. Among those writing were Brewster's wife, Rebecca Fish, and children Arthur, Edward, Howard, Robert, and Martha Brewster. Most of the correspondence is arranged by recipient.
